Lauren Reilly
Trainer

Lauren Reilly is a former collegiate and professional soccer player who currently serves as director of TBT Soccer training and as the strength and conditioning coach/technical training specialist of the Palm Beach Atlantic University women’s soccer team. Reilly specializes in team/individual technical training and soccer-specific strength and conditioning.

She attended Fairfield University in Connecticut, a Division I school, where she served as team captain and was a multi-time First Team All-MAAC & NSCAA All-Northeastern Region Team honoree during her collegiate career. Following her graduation from Fairfield in 2013, she played for the Boston Breakers Reserves Team and the New England Mutiny of the NWSL & WPSL; and later went on to play professionally with First Division Team, Hovas Billdal, in Goteborg, Sweden.

Following her playing career, Reilly briefly returned to South Florida to accept the varsity girls soccer coaching position at her high school alma mater, St. Andrews. As a player, she helped lead St. Andrews to a State Championship in 2007, and reach the State Finals in 2009.

After the conclusion of the 2014 high school season, Lauren moved to Los Angeles, Calif., where she worked as a technical trainer and fitness director for Beast Mode Soccer–a world-renown soccer training company specializing in individual technical development.

In 2015, Lauren returned to her hometown of Boca Raton, Fla., where she further expanded her coaching resume at the semi-professional, collegiate, club, and individual levels.

She served as an assistant coach and head strength and conditioning coach for Lynn University’s women’s soccer team during their 2015-2016 season; staying on to direct the team’s strength and conditioning program during their 2016 and 2017 off-seasons. She then continued her collegiate soccer coaching career in 2019, accepting the role of assistant women’s soccer coach and strength and conditioning/technical training specialist at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Lauren’s on-field work has continued at the club level with her position as Fitness Director of Team Boca Soccer Club. As Fitness Director, Lauren coordinates and leads weekly on-field fitness sessions (focusing on injury prevention and speed, agility, strength, and endurance development) with all of the club’s girls’ teams (U10-U18). Lauren has also served as the assistant coach and strength and conditioning coach for the club’s semi-professional WPSL side, Team Boca Blast.

Off the field, Lauren has worked as a personal trainer and sports performance coach–most recently at D1 Training in Deerfield Beach, and Impact Sports Performance in Boca Raton, where she specialized in soccer-specific strength and conditioning training and worked with male and female athletes at the youth, high school, collegiate, professional, and international levels.

Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies from Fairfield University, holds a USSF National Coaching License as well as a Beast Mode Soccer Technical Trainer certification, and is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer currently working toward attaining her CSCS certification.

Shane Wixted
Trainer

Shane grew up playing in the USDA Academy with the Chargers Soccer Club. Named a High School All-American. Shane went to the University of South Florida and was a member of the Big East Regular season championship team and participated in the NCAA Elite 8

He also went to Stony Brook University where he was a member of the America-East Regular Season championship team and was Captain of the team.

Shane’s coaching career includes spending 4 years as the Assistant Coach at Stony Brook University, a Division 1 program in Long Island NY.

He helped lead the program to an America East regular-season championship and helped guide multiple players to All-Conference awards.

During his time in New York, he worked with youth players and professional players providing technical training.
